Supplying Czechia, in detail

Which gate suits a delivery to Brno, and which to Ústí nad Labem?

Koper for Brno, Olomouc, Ostrava and the rest of Moravia — the sea leg out of Suez is much shorter and the road move up through Austria is straightforward, about 21–28 days in all. Hamburg and the Elbe rail corridor for Ústí, Prague and the north-west, about 27–35 days, where the inland leg reverses the advantage. We compare both against the delivery town on every quotation.

Is the PED declaration for a Czech order issued before or after the goods clear?

Before. Where an assembly is above the pressure-volume threshold in PED 2014/68/EU, we issue the declaration of conformity as the assembler before dispatch, and it travels with the goods to Koper or Hamburg, where the importer enters them into free circulation. Below the threshold sound engineering practice applies and there is no CE mark, so no declaration is issued for those lines.

What should go in the commissioning spares crate for a Czech-built machine?

The hoses most likely to be needed in the machine’s first year — usually the ones nobody thinks about while it is being built. Packing a small commissioning set with the machine costs little at that point and saves an air freight and a customs entry later, when the new installation is under scrutiny. Choosing the set is a short exercise on the schematic; send it and we quote the set.

Which fitting patterns do Czech machine builders order from you?

DIN metric, BSP, JIC and ORFS ranges, and GOST-pattern couplings where a machine is going to a market that specifies them, so one order can plumb the whole machine. Builders exporting plant usually need the destination market’s pattern rather than the one used at home, and we hold those ranges as stock. Send the drawing or the fitting list and we check each end against it.

Do you supply hydraulics for the lignite mines around Most and Bílina?

Yes — hose assemblies, fittings and valves for bucket-wheel excavators, spreaders, conveyors and dozers in open-cast lignite. That duty is abrasion, dust and frost before pressure, so cover material and cycle life lead the specification. For North Bohemia the Hamburg and Elbe corridor is often the better gate, and the quotation compares it with Koper.

Can you support maintenance at the Litvínov and Kralupy refineries?

Yes — industrial hose, hose assemblies, valves and fittings specified against the medium, temperature and pressure of each stream rather than a part number. Where a list is tied to a shutdown, sending it early lets it travel as one consignment through Hamburg or Koper, with air freight into Prague for late additions. The PED declaration is prepared where an assembly is above threshold.

Do you supply hydraulics for Czech hydro, pumped-storage and nuclear sites?

For governor, gate and actuator hydraulics on hydro and pumped-storage plant such as the Vltava cascade and Dlouhé Stráně, and for conventional-island equipment, yes. Any item a plant classifies as nuclear-safety related needs that plant’s own qualification; we confirm the document set at quotation and decline where we cannot evidence it.

Why do Ostrava and Třinec orders rarely go through Hamburg?

Because the arithmetic favours the Adriatic in the east of the country. Koper and road through Austria takes about 21–28 days from dispatch to Moravia-Silesia, while Hamburg and the Elbe corridor take 27–35 days and point at Prague and the north-west. When a line is down, air freight into Prague takes 2–4 days, with the road leg after it. These are typical transits, not delivery promises.

Can you supply press and clamping hydraulics for automotive plants around Mladá Boleslav and Kolín?

Yes — hose assemblies, fittings and valves for press, clamping and handling equipment in vehicle plants and their suppliers. On a production line the useful figure is cycle life at working pressure and the real bend radius, so tell us both. We can build and label assemblies as matched sets so a station is serviced in one intervention.

Do you supply hydraulics for river vessels and port cranes at Děčín and Mělník?

Yes — winch, hatch, steering and crane hydraulics for Elbe and Vltava barges and the cranes in the river ports. Equipment that works by the water through winter needs cover materials and compounds chosen for wet, cold duty. Send the vessel or crane model and the fitting ends, and these consignments usually come through Hamburg and the Elbe corridor.
