Fixed or adjustable

An ORB port seals on an O-ring under the hex, so a straight male stud is simply screwed in. Elbows and tees come as adjustable fittings with a locknut, so the branch can be set to any angle before the O-ring is clamped.

SAE J1926 and ISO 11926

The O-ring boss port is defined by SAE J1926 (ISO 11926). The 37° flare ends on JIC × ORB adapters follow SAE J514.
