Single Ferrule Tube Fittings
Single-ferrule compression fittings in 316 stainless steel, including metric-tube connectors.
How a single-ferrule fitting seals
One ferrule both grips and seals the tube as the nut is made up. Single-ferrule parts do not interchange with double-ferrule ones, so keep a line on one system.
Materials
Bodies are 316 stainless steel from bar to ASTM A479 / A276, as the manufacturer states on each listing.

Delivery
Single Ferrule Tube Fittings across the Gulf
Ex-stock from Dubai, delivered within 3 working days in the UAE.
Gauges, transmitters and control items are small, light and calibration-dependent, which makes them the easiest thing here to send by courier and the most important to order against the right range. We ship from Dubai with calibration documentation where the item carries it, and quote against the range and connection you specify rather than the nearest catalogue equivalent.

Questions we get asked
About this range
- 01Do you have metric single-ferrule connectors?
- Yes: the metric male connector covers metric tube from 2 mm to 38 mm to BSPT male threads.
- 02Will a 1/4″ tube fitting work on 6 mm tube, or 1/2″ on 12 mm?
- No. Fractional and metric tube sizes are close but not the same: 1/4″ is 6.35 mm against 6 mm, 3/8″ is 9.53 mm against 10 mm, and 1/2″ is 12.7 mm against 12 mm. A ferrule made for one will not grip or seal the other properly, and the joint can leak or blow off under pressure. Measure the tube outside diameter before ordering, keep metric and fractional fittings apart in stores, and order the metric connector for metric tube.
- 03What is a bored-through thermocouple connector?
- A male connector bored right through to the tube size, so a thermocouple sheath, probe or tube can pass through the fitting and out the other side. The ferrule grips and seals on the probe, which lets you set the insertion depth into a vessel or pipe where you want it, with the NPT male end screwed into the process port. Order it by the probe outside diameter, not the nominal thermocouple size, and remember that once the ferrule is made up its position on the probe is fixed.
- 04Where is a bulkhead fitting used, and what is a welding bulkhead union?
- A bulkhead fitting carries a tube line through a panel, enclosure wall or plate and holds it there. The standard type passes through a drilled hole and is clamped by a locknut on the far side, so it can be removed. A welding bulkhead union has no locknut: its body is welded into the plate, for a permanent, sealed pass-through. Check the panel thickness against the bulkhead length on the listing, and the hole size the fitting needs.
- 05What is a port connector?
- A short connector that joins two tube fitting ends directly, without a length of tube between them. Each end goes into a fitting port where the tube would normally go and is made up with that fitting's nut and ferrule, so two fittings, or a fitting and a valve, can be coupled as close as possible. A reducing port connector does the same between two different tube sizes. Like any part of the joint, use it only with fittings of the same system.
- 06What is a tube stub adapter or reducer used for?
- It has a tube-shaped end, the stub, in place of a nut and ferrule, and that stub plugs into another fitting's tube port as if it were tube. A reducer, tube × tube stub, changes the line from one tube size to another at an existing fitting. An adapter, tube stub × BSPP or NPT, turns a tube port into a threaded connection. They save a separate union and short tube piece where space is tight. Make up the stub in the mating fitting the same way as tube.
