Hydraulic & industrial hose supplier in Argentina

Indus Hydraulics ships hydraulic hose, fittings, valves and wellhead equipment from Dubai to Argentina by sea round the Cape into Buenos Aires, with Bahía Blanca and Rosario for bulk and the river ports, and by air into Ezeiza, under Spanish documents and a Dubai Chamber attested certificate of origin. The 35–45 day sea leg is the predictable part; the import authorisation and the foreign-exchange approval are the variables, and we confirm both at quotation. For Vaca Muerta duty we quote hose on impulse life, not burst pressure alone.

Sequence

How an order to Argentina works

  1. 01Send the part numbers, or the bore, thread and pressure if you do not have them. A photo of the failed part is usually enough.
  2. 02We quote in USD against real stock, with the Incoterm stated on the Estimate rather than assumed.
  3. 03The current state of the import authorisation and the foreign-exchange approval is confirmed — not assumed from the last shipment — and the file is built to whatever regime is actually in force.
  4. 04Goods sail from Jebel Ali round the Cape, and you get the paperwork and tracking together.

Questions we get asked

Supplying Argentina, in detail

01

What is the current position on Argentine import licensing?

It changes, so we confirm it per order rather than publish a description that ages badly. The import authorisation regime and the foreign-exchange approval that pays for the goods have both been revised more than once inside a single shipping cycle. At quotation we check where both stand, tell you plainly, and build the file to the regime actually in force — not to how the last shipment cleared.

02

Can you quote before our import authorisation is granted?

Yes, and the quotation will say plainly that it is subject to the authorisation. What we will not do is load a container against an authorisation nobody has checked and leave the consignment sitting at Buenos Aires while it is sorted out. Quote early, have the authorisation confirmed, then release the order — the sea leg starts only once the file is sound.

03

Does the foreign-exchange approval affect when the goods can sail?

Yes. The importer raises the foreign-exchange approval for the payment through their bank, and it needs to be in place before the vessel sails. We quote in US dollars because the approval is raised against the dollar value; quoting in another currency adds a step at your bank. Its current state is one of the two things we confirm at quotation, alongside the import authorisation.

04

How long does a container take from Jebel Ali to Buenos Aires?

Typically 35 to 45 days FCL from dispatch, sailing round the Cape of Good Hope and across the South Atlantic. Consolidated LCL with transhipment runs 42 to 55 days and suits small mixed orders. Air freight from Dubai into Ezeiza (EZE) takes 5 to 8 days with a connection, for a line that is down. Unusually, the freight is the predictable part of this lane and the licensing is the variable.

05

Can you deliver DAP to frac pads and bases around Añelo and Neuquén?

Yes. On DAP terms we deliver to the pad or the operating base at Añelo or in Neuquén. The road leg from Buenos Aires into the Neuquén basin is long — more than a thousand kilometres — so it is quoted rather than estimated, and fixed together with the sea freight so the delivered figure you compare is the real one. Tell us the operator's gate and site-access requirements at the order.

06

Which hose rating should we compare for Vaca Muerta frac and flowback duty?

Impulse life, not burst pressure alone. Stimulation work pressurises and depressurises a line over and over, and two hoses with the same burst rating can differ several-fold in cycle life depending on construction and how the ends were attached. Ask for the ISO 18752 or SAE J517 impulse performance explicitly; we quote against it where the manufacturer publishes it and say so where none does.

07

Which API wellhead and pressure-control equipment can you ship to Argentine operators?

We supply API 6A wellhead, API 16A BOP, API 16C choke and kill and API 7K drilling hose, with NACE MR0175 material documentation where the contract requires it. Makes we supply include TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM. Monogram and material certificates are confirmed line by line at quotation, so the data book is settled before the order is loaded rather than at the Neuquén base.

08

What documents does an Argentine import from Dubai carry?

Five, in order: the import authorisation under the current regime, the foreign-exchange approval for the payment, the customs import declaration the importer lodges with Aduana before arrival, a Dubai Chamber attested certificate of origin, and material and test certificates where the order calls for them. Documents are in Spanish, with the description agreeing across the invoice, the packing list and the declaration.

09

Do you ship hose and valves for lithium brine projects in Salta, Jujuy and Catamarca?

Yes — hose, fittings and valves for brine extraction, pond transfer and processing plant on the Puna. Tell us the altitude, the brine chemistry and the night-time low, because the Puna combines thin air, abrasive dust, salt and wide temperature swings, and each one changes the cover, the seal compound and the fitting material. Delivery is DAP to site or CIF Buenos Aires for your own road haulage.

10

Do you supply cylinders and servo valves for the steel mills along the Paraná?

Yes — high-force cylinders, servo and proportional valves, high-pressure hose and fittings for tube, rolling and finishing lines in the Campana, San Nicolás and Villa Constitución corridor. Mill plant mixes metric, ISO and SAE connections, so send the nameplate data or the original part number and we match it rather than approximate. Delivery is CIF Buenos Aires or DAP to the mill gate.

11

Do you supply deck hydraulics for the fishing fleets of Mar del Plata and Puerto Madryn?

Yes — hose, fittings, cylinders and valves for deck cranes, trawl winches, net drums and steering gear. Marine duty wants covers that resist seawater and UV and fittings in plated or stainless material, so tell us where each line runs on the vessel. Orders ship CIF Buenos Aires for onward road haulage south, or DAP to the buyer's site when you want one delivered figure.
