Saudi Aramco specifies 12-month elastomer replacement on every BOP in the fleet. ADNOC, KOC, PDO and QatarEnergy run the same annual cadence. We deliver that redress on rotation across the GCC — five to ten days at-rig, or two to three weeks at our Jebel Ali workshop with a rental BOP available.
API STD 53 says the BOP stack gets tested every 14 days. Every operator in the GCC enforces it. Indus runs a standing pressure-test crew out of Jebel Ali — IWCF Level 4 supervisor, chart operator, assistant — that mobilises within 48 — 72 h to any active rig in KSA, UAE, Iraq or Oman.
A UAE steel-stamping plant brought us a hand-drawn 16-port circuit on grid paper. We turned the sketch into an EN24 manifold, hydrotested it at 630 bar, and bolted it to the press the same shift it landed.
Quarterly oil-condition round on 14 hydraulic systems at an Emirates aluminium smelter. ISO 4406 was green on system #7 — but ferrography flagged a rising Fe + Cr signature. Pump pulled 18 days later. Bearing 75% spalled. Estimated AED 800K avoided.
Drilling rig coming out of cold-stack. Drilling engineer hands us a 112-line BOM with a 14-day window, sour-service NACE across all four circuits. Built in JAFZA hose bay; every assembly tagged and traceable.
A 50 HP auxiliary HPU off a UAE land rig came in for what the operator thought was a filter change. Eight days later it left with new bearings, a trued manifold, oil at target ISO 4406 17/15/12, the right schematic on the skid, and the operator cabin 7 dB quieter.
A 3-1/16" 10K choke & kill manifold from ADNOC Lower Zakum, recerted to API 16C with full NACE trim swap on 8 gate valves and 2 chokes. 28 days on the bench, 15K shell test on every body, fresh 5-year stamp valid through 2031.
A CT injector skid was pulled mid-job from a sour Aramco well with chain-block slip and a dead accumulator. We stripped, re-faced, re-bladdered, re-tuned and function-tested it in 5 days — back on location for the same-week return slot.
KOC pulled an 11-station Koomey Type 80 closing unit at 4 yr 11 mo. We rebladdered all 11 accumulators, overhauled the SPM stack, recharged on traceable nitrogen, and stamped the API 16D 5-year recert in 8 bench days.
ADNOC Drilling pulled a Cameron Type-U 13-5/8" 10K BOP for its mandatory 5-year API 16A major recert. We took it down to component level, NDT'd every metallic, replaced every elastomer, hydrotested at 15,000 psi, and put it back on the rig 42 days later with the annular closing 0.6 s faster.
An ADNOC Bab field contractor was about to buy a new triplex mud pump fluid end at AED 3.8M list. The deck was reusable. We rebuilt it in eleven days at 37% of replacement cost, hydrotested to 7,500 psi.
Bore roundness, rod straightness, gland clearances, deck flatness, seat depths — captured against OEM tolerances, with a recommendation for each finding. If you’d rather replace than rebuild, we’ll tell you, and quote the replacement too.
