Stainless Steel JIC Adapters
37° JIC adapters in 316L stainless steel, for hydraulic and process lines where zinc-plated carbon steel would corrode.
Choosing a stainless JIC adapter
Confirm the end is a 37° flare, not a 45° SAE flare: the two share threads in some sizes but do not seal on each other. Read the thread on each end, then pick the body form. Each listing gives every size with its part number and, where published, its dimensions and Parker equivalent.
SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2
The 37° flare connection is defined by SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2. It seals metal to metal on the flare, so no sealant goes on the thread. Pipe-thread ends follow ASME B1.20.1.

Delivery
Stainless Steel JIC Adapters across the Gulf
Ex-stock from Dubai, delivered within 3 working days in the UAE.
Hose and fittings are the bulk of what leaves this warehouse, and they travel well: a crated batch of assemblies with its crimp records, or a box of adapters on an airway bill. Buyers outside the UAE usually order to a measured list rather than to a part number, because a hose is defined by its ends, its length and its route rather than by a code. Send those and we will quote against them.

Questions we get asked
About this range
- 01Are these 316 stainless?
- Most families are 316L stainless steel, forged; each listing states the grade the manufacturer gives. Where a listing says stainless steel without a grade, ask and we will confirm before you order.
- 02Do the listings show dimensions and equivalents?
- Yes, where the manufacturer publishes them. Every size is listed with its end sizes; most also carry millimetre dimensions and the Parker part number the manufacturer cross-references.
- 03Will a stainless JIC adapter mate with a carbon-steel one?
- Yes, the 37° flare is the same; mixing materials in a wet line can cause galvanic corrosion, so most specifications keep a stainless line stainless.
- 04What do I need to connect stainless tube to a JIC adapter?
- A JIC tube nut and tube sleeve for the tube OD, and a 37° flare on the tube end made with a flaring tool. Slide the nut and sleeve on before flaring, then make the joint up on the male 37° cone. The sleeve supports the tube behind the flare and reduces vibration fatigue. Use annealed stainless tube that will flare without cracking, and check the flare for splits before assembly.
- 05What is the difference between a JIC male union and a female swivel union?
- A male union has a 37° cone at each end and joins two female swivel nuts — two hoses, or two flared tubes. A female swivel union has a swivel nut at each end and joins two male cones. Choose by what is already on the two ends you are joining. Bulkhead unions do the same job through a panel.
- 06How do I change dash size on a stainless JIC line?
- Use a JIC female swivel × JIC male reducer or expander: the swivel end mates the existing male, and the male end takes the new size. A short version is listed where space is tight. Changing size in the line rather than the hose end keeps a standard hose assembly, but every extra joint is a leak path, so where the hose is being replaced anyway, order it with the correct end.
