Thermal fluid is a temperature problem and a leak problem

Synthetic heat transfer fluids run far above what any rubber construction tolerates, and they are searching liquids that will find a joint a hydraulic oil would never trouble. That combination points to metallic hose with the appropriate braid and to end connections that seal by metal-to-metal contact rather than by an elastomer. Flexibility still matters, because a collector field moves as it tracks and expands as it heats. If you are engineering a plant for a hot climate, the ambient at the site belongs in the specification alongside the fluid temperature.
