Underground, the fluid dictates everything downstream

Once a fleet moves to a fire-resistant fluid, seals, hose linings and even permissible operating pressures change with it, because these fluids carry less load and are harder on components than mineral oil. Retrofitting one into a machine specified for the other, without revisiting what it touches, produces failures that look random and are not. The conversion is straightforward when planned and troublesome when discovered. If a machine is being converted, send the fluid designation and the existing hose specifications together and we will identify what has to change.
