Who supplies hydraulic hose and fittings to Tanzania from Dubai?

Indus Hydraulics ships hydraulic hose, fittings, adapters, valves, industrial hose and flow iron from Dubai to Tanzania. Sea freight from Jebel Ali to Dar es Salaam takes typically 16–20 days by LCL or full container, and air freight into Dar takes three to five days. The TBS Certificate of Conformity is arranged before loading, so the consignment arrives ready to clear.

Who arranges the TBS Certificate of Conformity?

We do, through an inspection agent appointed under the Tanzania Bureau of Standards verification programme, working from the part numbers on the order. The certificate is issued against the consignment rather than the supplier, so the part list has to be complete before the container is booked. Adding lines after verification means reopening it, which is the most common cause of delay on this lane.

Which documents are needed to clear goods at Dar es Salaam port?

The core set is the TBS Certificate of Conformity issued before the vessel sails, the TANSAD customs declaration lodged by the consignee or clearing agent on arrival, a Certificate of Origin attested by Dubai Chamber, and the bill of lading with packing list. Material and test certificates travel with the goods where the order calls for them. Your clearing agent will want copies before the vessel docks.

How long does delivery to Mwanza or Mbeya take?

Sixteen to twenty days by sea from Jebel Ali to Dar es Salaam, plus two to four days on the road inland. The road leg is quoted rather than estimated because it depends on the load and the destination. Kigoma and the western border towns are longer still, and are best priced on DAP terms so the whole journey sits on one Estimate.

Can you supply the gold mines around Geita and Kahama?

Yes. High-cycle cylinders, four-spiral and abrasion-resistant hose, slurry valves and dust-rated components are the bulk of what we ship into mining, with material certificates where the contract calls for them. Deliveries to Geita, Kahama and the Lake Victoria goldfields go to the mine gate on DAP terms, with the road leg from Dar es Salaam quoted per shipment.

What hose works best on Tanzanian mining and quarry equipment?

Hose on mining and quarry plant usually fails at the cover through abrasion, long before the reinforcement reaches its pressure limit. Specifying an abrasion-resistant cover, and protecting runs that cannot be routed clear with sleeving or spring guards, often extends service life far more than a higher pressure rating. Tell us the machine and where the hose runs, and we will specify against that duty.

Do you ship to Zanzibar?

Yes, on DAP terms. Consignments for Zanzibar come into Dar es Salaam first and then take a short sea leg across, which is quoted per shipment rather than estimated. Marine and hospitality buyers on the island usually combine hose, fittings and lifting hardware into one consignment so the conformity verification and the onward leg cover everything in a single trip.

Do you crimp and pressure-test hose assemblies before shipping to Tanzanian mines?

Yes. Hose assemblies are cut to the length you specify, crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai, then shipped as finished items tagged with the hose, the fitting and the test date. A tagged assembly can be reordered by reference, which matters on a lane measured in weeks: the replacement for a failed hose on a haul truck arrives identical to the original.

Is there a minimum order for Tanzania?

There is no minimum on stock items, but sea freight rewards consolidation. One container under one TBS certificate costs less per line than three part shipments, each needing its own verification and clearance at Dar es Salaam. For mine sites we suggest grouping the planned maintenance requirement into a single order and sending only true breakdown items by air.

Which standards do you supply hydraulic and oilfield equipment to?

Hydraulic hose is supplied to SAE J517, EN 853, EN 856 and ISO 18752, with fittings in BSP, JIC, ORFS, NPT and metric threads to match plant from different makers. Valves, flow iron and wellhead equipment for gas field work are supplied to the API specification named in the contract, with test certificates. Send the standard your specification calls for and we quote against it.

Can you supply lifting slings and shackles to Tanzania?

Yes. Wire rope and chain slings, shackles, hooks and rigging hardware are supplied for port, mine and construction work, with test certificates where the order calls for them. Whether a particular line needs TBS verification is confirmed from the part numbers at quotation, and it is then verified with the rest of the consignment before the container is loaded in Dubai.

How do I get a quotation from Tanzania?

Send the part numbers or hose specification, quantities, the delivery town and your preferred Incoterm: DAP to site, CIF Dar es Salaam, FOB Jebel Ali or EXW Dubai for your own forwarder.
