Should Burkina Faso cargo route through Abidjan or Tema?

Abidjan for most orders: typically 35–45 days via the northern corridor and the Niangoloko crossing. Tema, 36–46 days via the Paga corridor, is the alternative when the Abidjan route is congested. On orders large enough for the difference to matter, we quote both, and the Ivorian or Ghanaian transit documents are prepared for whichever port is chosen.

Why is Ouagadougou about six weeks from Jebel Ali?

Four to five weeks by sea around the Cape, then roughly eleven hundred kilometres of road from the coast. Door to door is typically 35–45 days via Abidjan. Air freight from DXB into Ouagadougou (OUA) runs five to seven days and is quoted per shipment, which is the usual choice for a single critical line when plant is down.

Why does a Burkina Faso order clear customs twice?

Because it moves as transit at the coast and as an import at the border. Before the vessel sails, the consignee lodges the import declaration through the bank, regulated lines are verified at origin by the appointed inspection body, and the nominated forwarder prepares Ivorian or Ghanaian transit documents. We issue the French invoice and packing list and a Dubai Chamber attested Certificate of Origin to match.

Must the French invoice match the transit papers raised at Abidjan or Tema?

Yes. The French invoice and packing list have to match the transit paperwork raised at the coast, line for line, or the cargo waits while it is corrected. That is why we ask for the complete part list at quotation and prepare both document sets before the container is loaded: an amendment mid-corridor costs weeks, not days.

Can you deliver to Essakane, Houndé and other mine gates in Burkina Faso?

Yes, on DAP terms to the mine gate. Houndé sits on the road between Ouagadougou and Bobo-Dioulasso, and Essakane is in the Sahel Region near Dori; both final legs are quoted rather than estimated, as are the other northern sites. Tell us the site, the receiving contact and any access arrangements the site already works to.

Which wear parts do Burkina Faso's gold mines go through fastest?
