How long does shipping from Dubai to Douala take?

Typically 28–34 days by sea in a full container from dispatch, because the routing runs around the Cape of Good Hope. Kribi takes the same 28–34 days and suits oversize packages. When a line is down, air freight from Dubai into Douala (DLA) runs 5–7 days and is quoted per shipment.

Should we ship to Douala or Kribi?

Douala for most orders, since it serves Cameroon’s main industrial zones and the onward corridors to Chad and the Central African Republic. Kribi where the package is oversize or the vessel needs the deeper draught, and for project cargo heading to the south. Port congestion at Douala is the commonest cause of a late delivery, so the choice is worth discussing at quotation.

Which documents clear customs in Cameroon?

Pre-shipment verification for regulated goods by the appointed inspection body, an import declaration domiciled with the buyer’s bank, the invoice and packing list in French, and a Certificate of Origin attested by the Dubai Chamber. The description has to agree across the invoice and the declaration; a mismatch between them is the commonest cause of delay. We prepare the set before the container loads.

What do you need from us before shipping to Cameroon?

The import declaration, domiciled with your bank before shipment, and the delivery address. Once the declaration is in place, pre-shipment verification for regulated lines and the French document set are arranged before the container is loaded. If the cargo is transiting onward to Chad or the Central African Republic, tell us at quotation so the paperwork covers the whole journey.

Can you route cargo through Douala to Chad and the Central African Republic?

Yes. Douala is the head of the corridors to N’Djamena and Bangui, and the transit documents are raised with the invoice rather than after arrival. Say at quotation that the consignment is transiting, so the paperwork covers the whole journey. The road leg beyond Douala is quoted against the final delivery address rather than estimated.

Can you deliver to Yaoundé, Garoua and the northern regions?

Yes, on DAP terms. Yaoundé, Edéa and Bafoussam are inland legs from Douala; Ngaoundéré, Garoua and Maroua are long road legs to the north. Each is quoted against your actual address rather than estimated. For urgent items, air freight into Douala runs 5–7 days from Dubai, with the onward leg arranged from there.

Do you supply offshore and LNG operations off Cameroon?

Yes. We supply API 6A wellhead and valves, API 16C choke and kill equipment, high-pressure hose and SS316L fittings for topside service, with NACE MR0175 documentation where the contract requires it. Makes include TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM. Offshore cargo can discharge at Douala or Kribi depending on where the shorebase sits.

Can you supply food-grade hose for breweries and agro-processing plants?

Yes, against the standard the plant is audited to. For potable water, edible oils, brewing or dairy duty, hose has to carry evidence of food-contact compliance, not just a suitable tube, so the documentation travels with the goods. Tell us the audit standard and the cleaning regime, since some constructions that suit the fluid do not survive the way a plant cleans.

Can you make up hydraulic hose assemblies for sites in Cameroon?

Yes. Assemblies are cut, crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai and shipped as finished items, each tagged with the hose, the fittings and the test date. That suits plant and vessel maintenance in Douala and Kribi, where a ready-to-fit assembly saves a crimping job on site. Send the hose specification, end fittings, length and orientation.

Which standards do you supply hose and fittings to for Cameroon?

We quote to the standard on your enquiry: SAE J517 and EN 853 or EN 856 hydraulic hose, API 7K drilling hose, API 6A and 16C pressure-control equipment, and ISO and SAE adapters.
