Supplying Gabon, in detail

How long does shipping from Dubai to Owendo and Port-Gentil take?

Typically 28–34 days by sea to Owendo in a full container from dispatch, because the routing runs around the Cape of Good Hope. Port-Gentil, direct or by coastal feeder, takes 30–36 days. When a line is down, air freight from Dubai into Libreville (LBV) runs 6–8 days and is quoted per shipment.

Should we ship to Owendo or Port-Gentil?

Owendo for general cargo, Libreville and anything heading inland to Moanda or Franceville. Port-Gentil where the delivery is offshore-related, since discharging there saves a coastal transfer. The choice decides whether the goods travel on by road and rail or by coaster afterwards, so tell us the end destination at quotation.

Which documents clear customs in Gabon?

Pre-shipment verification for regulated goods by the appointed inspection body, an import declaration domiciled with the buyer’s bank, the invoice and packing list in French, and a Certificate of Origin attested by the Dubai Chamber. The descriptions have to agree across the invoice, the packing list and the declaration. We prepare the full set before the container loads.

Can you supply offshore platform work out of Port-Gentil?

Yes. API 6A wellhead and valves, API 16C choke and kill equipment, SS316L and duplex fittings for topside service, and NACE MR0175 documentation where the contract requires it. Makes include TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM. Offshore cargo can discharge at Port-Gentil directly or by coastal feeder, in 30–36 days from Jebel Ali.

Can you deliver to Moanda and Franceville?

Yes, on DAP terms to the site gate. Cargo lands at Owendo and travels inland along the Transgabonais corridor to Haut-Ogooué. The inland leg is long and is quoted against your address rather than estimated. Tell us the delivery point at quotation so the freight figure covers the whole journey.

Do you supply the manganese operations at Moanda?

Yes. Four-spiral hydraulic hose, slurry valves, high-cycle cylinders and crusher-duty components for manganese mining and processing, with material certificates where the contract calls for them. Because the inland leg from Owendo adds time to the 28–34 day sea transit, we suggest ordering critical wear parts against the consumption rate rather than the failure.

How should hose spares be stored in Gabon’s humidity?

Sealed, out of direct light and rotated oldest-first. Constant humidity ages rubber and corrodes unprotected steel whether or not anything is running, so a spare bought well in advance can be unserviceable by the time it is fitted. We date-mark assemblies on request, which makes stock rotation practical for sites holding spares against a long lane.

Can you make up hydraulic hose assemblies for Gabon?

Yes. Assemblies are cut, crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai and shipped as finished items, each tagged with the hose, the fittings and the test date, and date-marked on request for humid storage. That suits Port-Gentil shorebases and Moanda workshops, where a ready-to-fit assembly saves a crimping job. Send the hose specification, end fittings, length and orientation.
