Who supplies API-rated oilfield equipment to Angola?

Indus Hydraulics ships API 7K rotary and vibrator hose, API 16C choke and kill assemblies, API 6A valves and wellhead equipment, and hydraulic hose and fittings from Dubai to Luanda, Lobito and Soyo. The certification is issued with the consignment rather than following separately, so an assembly can go into service on arrival. Makes we supply include TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM.

Do the documents have to be in Portuguese for Angola?

Yes, and they have to agree with each other. Angola clears imports on Portuguese-language documentation, and a description that differs between the invoice, the packing list and the declaration is the commonest cause of delay at Luanda. We prepare the invoice and packing list in Portuguese together, with the tariff line and technical description agreed before the container is booked.

Is pre-shipment inspection always required for Angola?

Above the value threshold, yes. The inspection is carried out by the appointed inspection body in Dubai while the order is picked, before the vessel sails. We confirm at quotation whether your order falls inside the threshold rather than charging for an inspection nobody needs, and the result travels with the Portuguese document set.

How long does shipping from Dubai to Luanda take?

Typically 28–35 days by sea in a full container from dispatch, because the routing is around the Cape of Good Hope and usually involves transshipment. Consolidated LCL takes 32–40 days. When a line is down, air freight into Luanda runs 5–7 days and is quoted per shipment.

Can you deliver to Cabinda, Soyo and Lobito?

Yes. Lobito and Soyo can be used as the port of discharge where the site is closer to them, and Cabinda is reached on DAP terms to the base gate. Each is a separate leg from Luanda and is quoted against the actual delivery point rather than estimated.

Can you supply offshore and FPSO specifications?

Yes. API 6A, API 16C and NACE MR0175 rated items with material certificates, plus SS316L and duplex fittings for topside service. Where an enquiry names a standard the product does not actually carry, we flag the mismatch at quotation — discovering it offshore with a vessel on day rate is the expensive way to find out.

Do you crimp and pressure-test hose assemblies before shipping to Luanda and Soyo?

Yes. Assemblies are crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai and shipped as finished items, tagged with the hose, the fitting and the test date. For API-specified rotary, vibrator, choke and kill assemblies, the certificate ships in the same consignment, so the assembly arrives ready to install rather than waiting for paperwork.

What does the Angolan customs declaration involve?

Goods are declared on the Documento Único, raised by the consignee or the clearing agent on arrival. It is drawn up from our Portuguese invoice and packing list, so the descriptions have to match line for line. We also supply a Certificate of Origin attested by the Dubai Chamber, and material and test certificates where the order calls for them.

Can you supply hose and components for diamond mining in the Lundas?

Yes. We supply dust-rated, high-cycle hydraulic hose, fittings and components for plant and mobile equipment in Lunda Norte and Lunda Sul, delivered on DAP terms with the inland leg quoted per address. Send the machine and the application with the part number, since a hose that fails early is often a routing or cover-specification problem.
