Deliveries through Ehoala take 22–30 days, and air freight into Antananarivo (TNR) runs 4–6 days, quoted per shipment.

Should we ship to Toamasina or Ehoala?

Toamasina for Antananarivo, the central highlands and the north; Ehoala where the delivery is in the south-east around Taolagnaro. Ehoala adds a few days at sea but saves a very long inland leg, which matters for the mineral sands operations. We quote CIF Toamasina or DAP to your site and pick the port that shortens the road leg to your address.

Can you supply the Ambatovy nickel and cobalt operation?

Yes. We supply slurry valves, four-spiral hydraulic hose, high-cycle cylinders and crusher-duty components for the nickel and cobalt chain between the Moramanga mine area and the Toamasina processing plant, with material certificates where the contract calls for them. Because there is no road alternative if a sailing is missed, we suggest ordering critical spares a vessel ahead of need.

Do you supply the mineral sands operations near Taolagnaro?

Yes. Wear-resistant hose, slurry valves, couplings and hydraulic components for ilmenite mining and dredging in the Anosy region can be shipped through Ehoala, which avoids the long road leg from Toamasina. Sea transit to Ehoala is 22–30 days from Jebel Ali. Tell us the site at quotation and the freight figure will include the delivery point.

Is pre-shipment inspection always required for Madagascar?

Only above the value threshold. Consignments above it are inspected by the appointed inspection body before the vessel sails, so the inspection is arranged while the order is picked in Dubai rather than added on top. We confirm at quotation whether your order falls inside the threshold and plan the loading date around it.

Which documents clear customs in Madagascar?

The invoice and packing list in French, a Certificate of Origin attested by the Dubai Chamber, the pre-shipment inspection where the value requires it, and a single-window customs declaration lodged by the consignee or clearing agent on arrival. For urgent items, air freight into Ivato (TNR) runs 4–6 days from Dubai and avoids the inland leg entirely.

When a machine is down and the next sailing would leave it idle for weeks. Air freight from Dubai into Antananarivo runs 4–6 days against 18–25 days by sea to Toamasina, at several times the cost. On an island lane the cheaper insurance is usually ordering slightly ahead, but for a single critical assembly or valve, air is the right call.

Can you make up hydraulic hose assemblies to length for Madagascar?

Yes. Assemblies are cut, crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai and shipped as finished items, each tagged with the hose, the fittings and the test date. That matters on an island where a missing fitting cannot be trucked in from a neighbouring country.
