Hydraulic & industrial hose supplier in Belarus

Indus Hydraulics supplies Belarusian plant from Dubai by sea to Klaipėda in Lithuania and a bonded road leg through Kamenny Log, with counterparty and end-use screening completed before any quotation is issued. Where screening clears, EAC documents are raised in the importer’s name. The work is maintenance supply for mining, process plant and heavy-vehicle fleets, so what interchanges with the fitted part matters more than the catalogue. Routing and timing are confirmed per consignment, never assumed.

Questions we get asked

Supplying Belarus, in detail

01

Why must screening clear before you quote for Belarus?

Because Belarus sits under European, American and British sanctions measures, and hydraulic and oilfield equipment is among the categories most likely to engage dual-use and end-use controls — with the UAE operating its own re-export regime as well. So we establish who the buyer is, what the equipment is for and where it will be installed before any quotation is issued, not after an order is taken. Where we cannot satisfy ourselves, we decline plainly rather than withdrawing after commitment.

02

What happens if screening on a Belarusian enquiry does not clear?

We decline, plainly and before a quotation exists. No price is issued, no documents are prepared and nothing is booked, because the documents on this lane are prepared only after screening clears. Declining at the start is deliberate: withdrawing after a buyer has committed costs everyone more than an early no. Where screening clears, the ordinary requirements follow — EAC documentation in the importer’s name and transit documents for the bonded road leg.

03

How does a consignment from Dubai reach Minsk?

By sea from Jebel Ali through Suez and the Baltic to Klaipėda, then under bond by road through the Kamenny Log crossing — where screening has cleared and that routing is open. Air freight is possible where the schedule is tighter and the routing permits, and a sea-and-rail routing can suit heavy or project cargo where one is available. Whichever applies, the routing is agreed at quotation and confirmed before dispatch.

04

Why is there no fixed transit time for Belarus?

Because the routing is confirmed per consignment. Sea and road is typically 30–40 days from dispatch, subject to screening and routing, but corridors into Belarus have changed more than once and a landlocked market reached through a neighbour depends on which road is open. The sea leg to Klaipėda is predictable; the road leg is quoted at the time. Publishing a firm band that assumed one corridor would be a promise we could not keep.

05

Does a Belarusian importer need an EAC declaration as well as screening?

Yes, for goods inside the Eurasian Economic Union technical regulations. Once screening clears, an EAC declaration or certificate of conformity is raised by an accredited body in the importer’s name, before the goods move. Belarus is a union member, so the framework is the same as Kazakhstan and Armenia. Transit documents for the bonded road leg, prepared by the forwarder at Klaipėda, and a Dubai Chamber attested certificate of origin complete the file.

06

Can you supply hydraulics for very large haul trucks in Belarus?

Where the specification is within what we hold, yes. Send the drawing rather than a part number: equipment at that scale runs bore sizes and working pressures above most catalogue ranges, and the drawing tells us the seat angle, thread form and sealing method we must match. We say plainly where an assembly is outside what we can supply, at enquiry rather than after an order has been placed.

07

What hose holds up in potash and salt mining duty?

Abrasion-resistant covers and corrosion-resistant assemblies for hoist, conveyor and processing positions. Potash is harder on a hose cover than its appearance suggests, and where moisture is present it attacks unprotected steel ends as well. Tell us the position in the circuit, the working pressure and whether the line runs underground or in the processing plant, and we specify the cover and the fitting finish to suit the duty rather than the catalogue default.

08

Which hose compound do you specify for a Belarusian winter?

Low-temperature material wherever the assembly is exposed. A standard compound stiffens well above Belarusian winter temperatures and cracks when it is flexed cold, usually at the bend nearest the fitting. For mobile machinery, open-air conveyors and outdoor plant we specify a low-temperature hose and state its rated minimum temperature on the quotation, so the assembly survives the first cold start of the season rather than failing on it.

09

How do you confirm a replacement fitting will interchange with GOST plant already running?

From photographs of the existing fitting, usually without anything being dismantled. Most plant here was built to GOST patterns, and an assembly that is dimensionally close but wrong on seat angle or thread form will fit, appear to work and weep within weeks. We confirm the seat angle, thread form and sealing method before the order, and we hold GOST-pattern couplings and adapters alongside DIN, BSP, JIC and ORFS ranges.

10

Does a delivery to Homel take longer than one to Minsk?

Yes, on DAP terms the road leg is longer. The bonded road leg from Klaipėda enters through Kamenny Log, north-west of Minsk, so the south-eastern cities such as Homel add distance that Minsk and Barysaw do not. That leg is quoted rather than estimated. Name the delivery town at enquiry, because the transit documents for the road leg are drawn up for the actual destination and the routing that is open at the time.
