Hydraulic & industrial hose supplier in Mexico

Indus Hydraulics ships hydraulic hose, fittings, valves and API oilfield equipment from Jebel Ali to Mexico on two oceans — through Suez to Veracruz or Altamira in typically 30–38 days, or eastbound through Malacca to Manzanillo or Lázaro Cárdenas in 26–34 — with air into Mexico City in 3–6. NOM certification applies only to listed products and attaches to the product, not the shipment, so we settle it once at quotation; the entry is made by your licensed broker against Spanish documents. Demand runs from the northern mines to the Gulf refineries.

Sequence

How an order to Mexico works

  1. 01Send the part numbers, or the bore, thread and pressure if you do not have them. A photo of the failed part is usually enough.
  2. 02We quote in USD against real stock, with the Incoterm stated on the Estimate rather than assumed.
  3. 03The ocean is fixed against the delivery state, and the NOM position is settled line by line — which parts are on the regulated list and which are not.
  4. 04Goods sail from Jebel Ali on whichever ocean serves the destination, and you get the paperwork and tracking together.

Questions we get asked

Supplying Mexico, in detail

01

Should our cargo land at Veracruz or Manzanillo?

Whichever coast your delivery state is nearer, because they are genuinely different lanes. Veracruz and Altamira are reached through Suez and the Atlantic in typically 30–38 days; Manzanillo and Lázaro Cárdenas eastbound through Malacca and the Pacific in 26–34. A container for Guadalajara or the west routed through Suez has gone the long way round, so we fix the ocean first.

02

Does NOM certification apply to hydraulic hose and fittings?

Only where the product is on the regulated list, and much industrial hose and fittings falls outside it. NOM is the Mexican official standard system, and where a line is inside, certification by an accredited body attaches to the product rather than the shipment — so it is obtained once and holds for future orders of that line. We settle the position line by line at quotation.

03

Which importer and broker details do you need before a Mexican consignment is booked?

Your importer registration and the licensed customs broker who will make the entry. Mexican entries are made through a broker, and the description on our invoice has to match what they declare, so we agree the Spanish wording with them at quotation. With those confirmed, the documents are prepared before the vessel sails.

04

Which coast serves a mine in Sonora, Chihuahua or Zacatecas, and will you deliver to the gate?

Sonora usually suits the Pacific lane through Manzanillo, while Chihuahua and Zacatecas are weighed against Altamira or Veracruz — and yes, we deliver on DAP terms to the mine gate. The road leg north is long and it is quoted rather than estimated. Tell us the mine, the receiving contact and any site induction or labelling rules.

05

Do the invoice and packing list need to be in Spanish?

Yes. Documents go in Spanish, with the description agreeing across the invoice, the packing list and the broker’s entry. A mismatch between what we describe and what the broker declares is what slows a Mexican clearance, so we fix the wording at quotation and keep it identical on every document for that consignment.

06

For a standard item, why not buy across the US border instead?

For a standard item you probably should — the US border is closer and the distribution behind it is deep. The reason to call us is a pattern or an API monogram we hold as stock, a mining or oilfield specification that is awkward to source in North America, or a package being built in Mexico for export to a Gulf or African contract.

07

Can we agree a year of repeat consumption instead of quoting the same list every quarter?

Yes, and for a predictable line list it is the better arrangement. Send twelve months of what you actually consumed rather than a forecast, and we agree quantities and prices once and you draw against them. It removes the quotation cycle and lets scheduled call-offs go by sea instead of air. Historical usage is a far better basis than an estimate.

08

Can you supply Pemex contractors on the Gulf coast to API specification?

Yes. API 6A wellhead, API 16A BOP, API 16C choke and kill and API 7K drilling hose, with NACE MR0175 material documentation where the contract requires it, confirmed per product at quotation. We supply TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM equipment for contractors working around Coatzacoalcos, Villahermosa, Ciudad del Carmen and Dos Bocas.

09

Can a part fly into Mexico City when a line in the Bajío is down?

Yes — typically 3–6 days from Dubai into Mexico City, with a connection. Air is for the part that stops the line; repeat consumption should travel by sea on a schedule. Confirm your broker before booking, because the entry and Spanish documents have to be ready when the flight lands, and we quote the road leg to Querétaro, León or Guanajuato.

10

Which Incoterms work for delivery inland to Monterrey or Guadalajara?

We quote CIF Veracruz, DAP to the buyer’s site, FOB Jebel Ali, or EXW Dubai for a nominated forwarder. For an inland plant, DAP shows the full landed route, including the choice of coast: Guadalajara usually through Manzanillo, Monterrey through Altamira or Veracruz. If your broker and forwarder handle the Mexican side, FOB Jebel Ali keeps it simple.
