What is KUCAS and who arranges it?

KUCAS is the Kuwait Conformity Assurance Scheme. Regulated products need a Technical Evaluation Report issued by a PAI-appointed conformity body against the specific product for a specific importer, so it cannot be borrowed from a previous shipment or another supplier's file. We arrange it from the part numbers on your order; send the full list at quotation and the work starts while the order is picked.

How long does delivery from Dubai to Kuwait City or Ahmadi take?

Typically three to four working days by air from dispatch, which is why most Kuwaiti orders fly. Road freight runs six to eight working days and LCL sea freight from Jebel Ali to Shuwaikh ten to fourteen, both quoted per shipment. Deliveries to Ahmadi, Shuaiba or Al Zour are quoted on DAP terms to the site gate.

Why is road freight to Kuwait slower than the map suggests?

Road freight to Kuwait transits Saudi Arabia, entering at Al Batha and leaving at Al Nuwaiseeb, so it carries Saudi transit formalities as well as Kuwaiti import ones and typically takes six to eight working days. Air freight from Dubai into Kuwait International is typically three to four and is the default for most orders. Road earns its place on full loads where volume outweighs time.

Can you supply against oil-sector tender specifications in Kuwait?

Yes. Where a tender names a standard — API 6A, API 16C, NACE MR0175 — we quote against it and the certification travels with the goods. Oil-sector tenders often restrict makes to an approved manufacturers list, so send that list with the enquiry and we check each make against it before quoting. Makes we supply include TechnipFMC, Cameron (SLB), SPM, Anson, Stream-Flo and WOM.

Do you supply legalised invoices for Kuwaiti tenders?

Where the buyer's tender requires one, yes. A legalised commercial invoice runs through the chamber and the consulate and adds working days rather than hours, so it is worth raising at enquiry rather than at order. The rest of the set — attested Certificate of Origin, invoice and packing list, and material and test certificates where the order calls for them — is prepared in Dubai before dispatch.

What is the fastest way to get a hose assembly to a rig or plant in Kuwait?

Air freight from Dubai into Kuwait International, booked as soon as the order is accepted. When a rig or press is down the comparison is against lost production, not freight cost, so tell us the urgency rather than the budget and we quote air. Any KUCAS work for regulated lines runs in parallel with picking, which is why the full part list at enquiry matters on this lane.

Can you make hydraulic hose assemblies to length for Kuwait?

Yes. Assemblies are crimped and pressure-tested in Dubai and shipped finished, tagged with the hose, the fitting and the test date, so they arrive ready to fit rather than as bulk hose and loose ends. Give us the hose standard, for example SAE J517 100R13 or EN 856 4SP, both end fittings and the length, or send the tag from the old assembly.

Can you supply for a refinery shutdown at Mina Al Ahmadi or Al Zour?

Yes, on DAP terms to the gate. For a planned turnaround, send the full material list at enquiry rather than at order: any KUCAS Technical Evaluation Reports run against the specific products and take time the shutdown schedule has to allow for. Hose, fittings, valves and rigging consolidate into one consignment under one set of documents, so the job does not wait for the slowest of several shipments.

Do you supply lifting and rigging gear to Kuwait?

Yes. Slings, shackles and rigging hardware are supplied marked with their working load limit and with the manufacturer's test certificates the order calls for. Whether a lifting line needs a KUCAS Technical Evaluation Report is checked at quotation, alongside the rest of the list. If a tender or lifting plan names a certificate format, send it with the enquiry and we confirm the document set.

How do I order from Kuwait?

Send part numbers, quantities, the delivery site and the importer's details through the quote form or by email; the KUCAS report is issued for a specific importer, so those details matter from the start. The Estimate states the Incoterm — DAP to your site, CIF Shuwaikh, FOB Jebel Ali or EXW Dubai for your forwarder — and flags any legalised-invoice requirement. Once accepted, documents are prepared in Dubai before dispatch.

Do you supply lay flat hose to Kuwait?

Yes. TPU and NBR lay flat hose goes to Kuwait for oilfield water transfer, construction dewatering and fire water, sized for the flow and line length with couplings to match the pumps. NBR suits lines where oily water is expected; antistatic TPU hose is supplied for fuel transfer.
