Mining & Conveyor Chain
DIN 22252 round link and DIN 22255 flat link mining chain, wear-resistant conveyor chain, mining chain connectors, monorail chain and chain wheels for bucket elevators.
Specified by force, not by WLL
Mining and conveyor chain is chosen by size (diameter × pitch), strength grade and fatigue class, and is rated by its test force and minimum breaking force. It carries no working load limit and is never used for lifting. Order chain and connectors of the same size and grade, and in matched lengths where the conveyor runs twin strands.
DIN 22252, 22255, 22253 and 22258
DIN 22252 covers round link chain for conveyors and mining machinery in grades B, C and D; DIN 22255 the lower-profile flat link chain; DIN 22253 the open connecting link; and DIN 22258-1 the block connecting link. DIN 20637 covers long link chain for monorail suspension.

Delivery
Mining & Conveyor Chain across the Gulf
Ex-stock from Dubai, delivered within 3 working days in the UAE.
Rigging hardware is bought on its working load limit and its certificate, and both travel with the part: every shackle, hook, chain and sling ships from Dubai with the manufacturer's test certificate, so the receiving inspection checks a document against a stamp rather than a claim. Hardware and fittings go by air or courier in cartons; wire rope, chain, hoists and anchors are heavy enough that sea freight is usually the sensible answer.

Questions we get asked
About this range
- 01Is mining chain rated for lifting?
- No. It is rated by test and breaking force for conveyor duty and has no working load limit. Lifting calls for Grade 80 or Grade 100 alloy chain.
- 02Do you supply chain wheels and sprockets?
- Yes. Plain, segmented, pocket and toothed wheels for DIN 764 and DIN 766 round steel chain are made to order; send the chain size, the wheel diameter or tooth count and the shaft bore.
- 03Do the parts come with test certificates?
- Yes. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate, giving the test and breaking forces of the batch.
