Product description
Forged open link, also called an outboard chain connector or mining chain shackle, to DIN 22253. It joins lengths of round link scraper conveyor chain and is closed with its locking pin, for underground mining and scraper conveyors.
Sizes and ratings
7 sizes in 16 size and grade combinations, 14 × 50 mm to 30 × 108 mm. Minimum breaking force 170 to 869 kN; test force is listed for each size and grade. Every row has its own Indus part number in the table below. The lettered dimensions refer to the dimension drawing in the gallery.
Choosing a size
Choose the size to match the chain (diameter × pitch). Each size is listed in grade B, grade C and the DIN 22253 class with its test and minimum breaking force; match the class of the chain it joins. It is conveyor and mining machinery chain, rated by test and breaking force; it is not lifting chain and carries no working load limit.

Quote the Indus part number from the table, or send the size and grade you need. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate; say on the RFQ if your site needs anything more.
