Instrumentation Tube Fittings
Compression tube fittings in 316 stainless steel for instrument, sampling and control lines, in double-ferrule and single-ferrule systems.
Double or single ferrule
A double-ferrule fitting grips the tube with a back ferrule and seals with a front ferrule; a single-ferrule fitting does both with one. The two systems are not interchangeable: keep nuts, ferrules and bodies from the same system, and match the fitting to the tube outside diameter.
Rated to the tube
A tube fitting holds the pressure of the tube it is made up on. Each listing carries the manufacturer's working pressures for 316 stainless tubing by outside diameter and wall thickness.

Delivery
Instrumentation Tube Fittings across the Gulf
Ex-stock from Dubai, delivered within 3 working days in the UAE.
Gauges, transmitters and control items are small, light and calibration-dependent, which makes them the easiest thing here to send by courier and the most important to order against the right range. We ship from Dubai with calibration documentation where the item carries it, and quote against the range and connection you specify rather than the nearest catalogue equivalent.

Questions we get asked
About this range
- 01Which tube do these fit?
- Fractional-inch outside-diameter tube from 1/16" to 2", plus metric tube on the metric connectors. Choose the wall thickness from the pressure table on each listing.
- 02Do you list equivalent part numbers?
- Where the manufacturer cross-references a Swagelok part number, the size table shows it beside the Indus part number.
- 03Can I use Indus tube fittings with Swagelok, Parker A-LOK or CPI nuts and ferrules?
- No. Compression fittings from different makers should not be intermixed, even where the design and size look the same. Ferrule geometry, body cone angles, thread tolerances and hardening differ from maker to maker, and a joint assembled from mixed parts may not grip or seal as either maker designed it. Keep the body, nut and ferrules of each joint from the Indus range. A cross-referenced part number on a size table tells you which Indus part does the same job; it does not make the parts interchangeable.
- 04NPT, BSPP or SAE straight thread: which end connection do I need on a tube fitting?
- The one the port you are connecting to already has. NPT is a tapered thread that seals on the thread itself with a thread sealant or PTFE tape. BSPP and SAE straight threads are parallel and do not seal on the thread: BSPP seals with a bonded seal or metal gasket at the face, and SAE straight thread seals with an O-ring against the port. Fitting a tapered male into a parallel port, or the reverse, will not seal reliably. If you are unsure, send a photo of the port or measure the thread pitch and diameter.
- 05What tubing should be used with 316 stainless compression fittings?
- Seamless or welded-and-drawn 316 stainless tube, fully annealed, with a hardness below that of the fitting so the ferrules can bite into it. Instrument tubing to ASTM A269 or A213 is the usual specification. The outside diameter must be within tolerance and the surface free of scratches, weld beads or flats where the ferrule seats, since the seal forms on the tube surface. Cut the tube square, deburr it and bottom it fully in the fitting body before tightening. Choose the wall thickness from the pressure table on each listing.
- 06Is 316 stainless enough for offshore and coastal instrument lines in the Gulf?
- For many installations yes, but not for all. 316 resists general corrosion well, but warm, chloride-laden air and salt deposits can cause pitting and crevice corrosion, typically under clamps and at the tube-to-fitting crevice. Where a project specification calls for a higher alloy such as 6Mo super-austenitic or super duplex stainless for these conditions, the fittings must match that specification; this range is 316 only. Keeping tubing clean and properly supported and avoiding trapped moisture under clamps reduces the risk on 316 lines.
