Stainless Steel DIN 2353 Tube Fittings
Metric 24° cone bite-type tube fittings in stainless steel, for metric tube from 4 mm to 42 mm.
Light, heavy or extra light
DIN 2353 fittings come in series that share a tube size but not a thread: the light (L) series suits general hydraulics and the heavy (S) series higher pressure, with a larger thread for the same tube. Order nut, cutting ring and body in the same series, and match the tube to the outside diameter in the listing.
DIN 2353 and ISO 8434-1
The 24° cone bite-type connection is defined by DIN 2353, now ISO 8434-1. The cutting ring bites into the tube as the nut is made up, which is why the manufacturer notes its resistance to vibration.

Delivery
Stainless Steel DIN 2353 Tube Fittings across the Gulf
Ex-stock from Dubai, delivered within 3 working days in the UAE.
Hose and fittings are the bulk of what leaves this warehouse, and they travel well: a crated batch of assemblies with its crimp records, or a box of adapters on an airway bill. Buyers outside the UAE usually order to a measured list rather than to a part number, because a hose is defined by its ends, its length and its route rather than by a code. Send those and we will quote against them.

Questions we get asked
About this range
- 01Are these 316 stainless?
- Most families are 316L stainless steel, forged; each listing states the grade the manufacturer gives. Where a listing says stainless steel without a grade, ask and we will confirm before you order.
- 02Do the listings show dimensions and equivalents?
- Yes, where the manufacturer publishes them. Every size is listed with its end sizes; most also carry millimetre dimensions and the Parker part number the manufacturer cross-references.
- 03What is the extra-light (LL) series for?
- It is the smallest DIN 2353 series, for small-bore tube in low-pressure, lubrication and instrument lines, and it uses its own nuts, rings and bodies. LL parts do not interchange with L or S parts, even where a thread looks close. Order nut, cutting ring and body together in LL and check the tube OD against the listing.
- 04How do I stop a stainless bite-type fitting from galling?
- Lubricate the nut thread and the cutting ring with a suitable assembly lubricant before make-up, and tighten steadily rather than in jerks. Stainless on stainless is prone to galling, which raises the torque and can seize the nut before the ring has bitten. Pre-setting the ring with a hardened pre-assembly tool gives the most reliable bite on stainless tube.
- 05Which stainless tube suits these fittings?
- Seamless annealed stainless tube, such as 316L, with an OD that matches the fitting and a hardness low enough for the cutting ring to bite. Hard or cold-worked tube resists the ring and can leak or pull out. Cut it square, deburr inside and out, and fit a reinforcing insert in thin-wall tube.
- 06What is a soft-seal tube cap?
- It is a cap that closes the end of a tube, sealing with an elastomer seal so it can be fitted without setting a cutting ring. Use it to blank a tube line temporarily for testing or during maintenance. To blank the fitting body instead, use a tube plug of the same series.
