Product description
The R16 Compact Two-Wire Braid Hose delivers SAE 100R2-class performance in a noticeably smaller envelope, ideal where routing space and bend radius matter. Conforms to SAE 100R16.
Construction
- Tube: Synthetic rubber (NBR), oil-resistant
- Reinforcement: Two layers of high-tensile steel wire braid
- Cover: Synthetic rubber, abrasion-resistant, MSHA-accepted, wrapped
Performance
Working pressure, as published by the manufacturer: 400 bar at 1/4", 330 bar at 3/8", 250 bar at 5/8", 215 bar at 3/4" and 165 bar at 1", with minimum burst four times working pressure. Continuous service from -40°C to 100°C (120°C intermittent) — ask for a fluid compatibility chart if running aggressive fluids.
