Product description
The R4 Low-Pressure Suction & Return Hose is a textile-reinforced hose with a helical wire that prevents collapse under suction. Conforms to SAE 100R4.
Construction
- Tube: Synthetic rubber (NBR), oil-resistant
- Reinforcement: Heavy textile braid plus spiral helix wire (anti-collapse)
- Cover: Synthetic rubber, oil and weather-resistant, cloth-impression finish
Performance
Working pressure, as published by the manufacturer: 21 bar at 3/4", 17 bar at 1", 14 bar at 1-1/4", 10 bar at 1-1/2" and 7 bar at 2", with minimum burst four times working pressure. Continuous service from -40°C to 121°C — ask for a fluid compatibility chart if running aggressive fluids.
