Product description
A lifting hook carries a load in its bowl — on a hoist, a sling leg or a chain. Made to AS 4344. Alloy steel, self colour, electro-galvanized.
Sizes and ratings
4 sizes, 6 mm to 13 mm. Lashing capacity 2,300 to 9,000 kg. Minimum breaking load 4,600 to 18,000 kg. Every size has its own Indus part number in the table below, with the loads in the unit the manufacturer rates them in.

Choosing a size
Seat the load at the bottom of the bowl, never on the tip, and use a latch wherever it could bounce free. Carbon and alloy versions of the same hook share a frame but not a rating, so order the row whose WLL covers your load.

Quote the Indus part number from the size table, or send the size and rating you need. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate; say on the RFQ if your site needs anything more.
