Product description
Vertical plate clamp for lifting steel plate and sections on edge. A spring-loaded cam grips the plate, and the lock holds the cam in both the open and the closed position.
Sizes and ratings
5 sizes, 1 t to 8 t per pair. Rated load 1 to 8 t for the pair. Every size has its own Indus part number in the table below, with the loads in the unit the manufacturer rates them in.
Choosing a size
Choose by rated load and by jaw opening, which must cover the plate thickness. The manufacturer states the rated load for two clamps used together, so the figure in the table is for the pair. The cam bites on the plate surface, so it is not for plates harder than the cam or for polished surfaces.
Ordering
Quote the Indus part number from the size table, or send the size and working load you need. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate; say on the RFQ if your site needs anything more.
