Product description
A coupling that ends a lay flat hose in a bolted flange, for connecting directly to pump discharge flanges, valves, manifolds and flanged pipe without an adapter. It is the most secure connection for large-bore, higher-pressure lay flat lines and for permanent or semi-permanent installations.

Fitting large-bore lay flat couplings
- Cut the hose square and push it fully onto the shank before closing the clamp halves.
- Tighten the clamp bolts evenly, side to side, to the torque given for the size; re-check after the first pressurisation.
- Match the coupling to the hose: lay flat wall thickness varies by class, and a clamp sized for one wall will not hold another.
- Check the working pressure of both the hose and the coupling — the line is limited by the lower of the two.
- Inspect shanks, clamps and seals for damage before each deployment, and keep seals clean of grit.

Send the hose bore and type, the mating connection at the other end (Storz size, grooved pipe OD, flange standard and rating, or the mating half) and the working pressure. We supply couplings loose or fitted to the hose as assemblies. Price and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.
