Stainless Steel Well Riser Hose Coupling, 2" to 12"

Stainless steel coupling for TPU lay flat borehole riser hose, joining the hose to the submersible pump and the well head: 2" to 12" to match the riser sizes, fits in a tight well head and keeps the hose coilable. Supplied loose or fitted to lay flat hose assemblies by Indus Hydraulics in the UAE.
Product description
The coupling for our TPU lay flat well riser hose. It joins the riser to the submersible pump outlet and to the well-head discharge, and carries the weight of the pump and water column through the hose. Stainless steel suits long submerged service in aggressive groundwater.
Construction
- Material: stainless steel
- Fit: sits close to the hose bore so the coupled hose still coils flat for transport
- Handling: quick to fit and remove in the confined space of a well head
- Sizes: DN50 to DN300 (2" to 12"), one per riser hose size
Pair it with the TPU lay flat well riser hose or the heavy-duty riser hose of the same bore.
Fitting large-bore lay flat couplings
- Cut the hose square and push it fully onto the shank before closing the clamp halves.
- Tighten the clamp bolts evenly, side to side, to the torque given for the size; re-check after the first pressurisation.
- Match the coupling to the hose: lay flat wall thickness varies by class, and a clamp sized for one wall will not hold another.
- Check the working pressure of both the hose and the coupling — the line is limited by the lower of the two.
- Inspect shanks, clamps and seals for damage before each deployment, and keep seals clean of grit.
How to order
Send the hose bore and type, the mating connection at the other end (Storz size, grooved pipe OD, flange standard and rating, or the mating half) and the working pressure. We supply couplings loose or fitted to the hose as assemblies. Price and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.

Flexible borehole riser hose vs steel column pipe: the case for lay flat rising mains
A submersible pump hangs on its rising main. Steel column pipe is strong but heavy, slow to install and prone to corrosion in saline Gulf groundwater; uPVC is light but limited. A flexible lay flat riser goes down in one length off a reel and comes out the same way. How they compare, how to size a riser for pressure and load, and how to install one.

How to install flexible well riser hose: a step-by-step guide for borehole pumps
A flexible riser goes into a borehole in one length, with the pump and cable, off a reel. Done well, a two- or three-person crew installs a pump in a fraction of the time steel column pipe takes; done badly, the hose kinks, the cable chafes or the pump ends up at the bottom of the well. What to check before you start, how to fit the couplings, strap the cable, lower the string and commission it — and how to get it back out.

Lay flat hose couplings: Bauer, camlock, Storz, grooved and flanged compared
A lay flat line is only as good as its joints. Small bores take camlock, Storz or Bauer couplings banded onto the hose; from 4" up, purpose-made couplings with forged shanks and bolted clamps end in grooved, Storz, flanged or high-pressure connections. Here is how each family works, where it fits, and how to fit one so it stays on.
