High-Pressure Lay Flat Hose Coupling, Male × Female

High-pressure male × female coupling for 4" to 12" lay flat hose in high-pressure oil and water transfer, frac water lines and long pumped mains: zinc-plated aluminium, each coupling air leak-tested. Supplied loose or fitted to lay flat hose assemblies by Indus Hydraulics in the UAE.
Product description
A coupling built for the pressures of pumped lay flat mains — frac water transfer, high-head dewatering and oil or fuel transfer lines — where a standard large-bore coupling is the weak point. The male and female halves lock together and are held by a bolted clamp on each hose end.
Construction
- Body: gravity-cast aluminium, zinc plated
- Halves: male and female with bolted hose clamps
- Cleaning: ultrasonic, before assembly
- Testing: every coupling air leak-tested
- Sizes: DN100 to DN300 (4" to 12")
Applications
- High-pressure water transfer and frac water lines
- Oil and fuel transfer with lay flat hose
- High-head dewatering mains
Fitting large-bore lay flat couplings
- Cut the hose square and push it fully onto the shank before closing the clamp halves.
- Tighten the clamp bolts evenly, side to side, to the torque given for the size; re-check after the first pressurisation.
- Match the coupling to the hose: lay flat wall thickness varies by class, and a clamp sized for one wall will not hold another.
- Check the working pressure of both the hose and the coupling — the line is limited by the lower of the two.
- Inspect shanks, clamps and seals for damage before each deployment, and keep seals clean of grit.
How to order
Send the hose bore and type, the mating connection at the other end (Storz size, grooved pipe OD, flange standard and rating, or the mating half) and the working pressure. We supply couplings loose or fitted to the hose as assemblies. Price and lead time are confirmed with the quotation.

Frac water transfer with lay flat hose: sizing, pressure and layout for GCC well pads
A fractured gas well can take millions of litres of water, delivered at rates of 40 to 100+ barrels a minute. Large-bore lay flat hose moves it from pond to pad faster than any temporary pipe. How to size the line, what pressure it must carry, which couplings hold, and what changes when the water is treated seawater — as at Saudi Arabia’s Jafurah field.

Lay flat compressed air hose for mines, quarries and sites — and how to keep it safe
Compressed air drives rock drills, breakers and pumps on mine benches, in tunnels and on construction sites — and a long air main of lay flat hose is quicker to run out and recover than rigid pipe. But air stores energy: a failed hose or coupling whips with lethal force. Where lay flat air hose fits, how to size it, and the rules on safety devices, whip checks and restraints from OSHA, MSHA and HSE.

Antistatic fuel transfer hose: earthing, bonding and lay flat for diesel lines
Diesel flowing through a hose generates static charge. If the hose or a coupling is electrically isolated, that charge can build until it sparks. How bonded (M) and conductive (Ω) hoses differ, how to earth a temporary fuel line, and where an antistatic lay flat hose fits at drilling camps, rigs and remote sites.
