Product description
The Victaulic Vic-300 MasterSeal Series 761 is a grooved-end butterfly valve rated from full vacuum up to 300 psi (2100 kPa / 21 bar), with full working pressure for bi-directional, dead-end service. It connects with Victaulic grooved couplings and has an ISO 5211 mounting flange for direct actuator mounting. This page covers the 4″ size, for 4.500″ (114.3 mm) OD pipe.

Materials
- Body and end face: ductile iron to ASTM A536, Grade 65-45-12, black coated.
- Disc: electroless-nickel-coated ductile iron (ASTM B733) as standard; CF8M stainless steel or C95500 aluminium bronze optional at this size.
- Stem: 416 stainless steel (ASTM A582) as standard; 17-4PH optional. Brass stem seal cartridge.
- Bearings: fibreglass and 316 stainless steel with TFE lining.
Seat options
- EPDM (green): −30°F to +230°F (−34°C to +110°C). Not for petroleum or steam service.
- Nitrile (orange): +10°F to +150°F (−12°C to +65°C). Not for hot water above +150°F, hot dry air above +140°F, or steam.
- Fluoroelastomer (blue): +20°F to +300°F (−7°C to +149°C). Not for steam.
Operators
At 4″ the valve is offered bare with the ISO 5211 flange, with a 10-position handle (infinitely variable, padlockable, with memory stop) or with a gear operator. Not recommended for potable water in stainless steel or copper systems.
Standards
Construction and performance meet or exceed MSS SP-67. Closure/seat leakage rate A to EN 12266-1, EN 1074-1, EN 1074-2 and ISO 5208.
