DEMCO Memory-Stop Throttling Handle for Butterfly Valves, 2″–12″

The DEMCO memory-stop throttling handle provides infinitely adjustable manual throttling between full-closed and full-open, with a lock-nut memory stop that holds a preset open position once balanced. Used for manual flow balancing in branch lines, hose-station service, and any application where the operator must return to a repeatable open position after closing. The lock nut is set with a wing-nut-and-carriage-bolt arrangement so the memory stop can be adjusted in service without removing the handle.

What it does

Provides infinitely adjustable manual throttling with a memory stop that returns the valve to a preset open position after each closure — combines flow-balancing capability with the simple operation of a manual lever.

• Compatible valve series: NE-C, NE-I, NE-I Sanitary, NE-D, NEI-T (any 2″–12″ DEMCO butterfly valve)

Configuration & trim

Specify trim level and frame size matching your valve. The memory stop is set in the field by loosening the wing nut, rotating the handle to the desired throttle position, and re-tightening the wing nut. The valve can subsequently be closed and re-opened to the memory stop without resetting.
