DEMCO 2-Position Locking Handle for Butterfly Valves, 2″–12″

The DEMCO 2-position locking lever handle is the simple manual operator for on/off isolation duty. Two positive locking detents — full-closed and full-open — with positive latch engagement at each. Available in the same three trim levels as the 10-position handle (standard, corrosion-resistant, sanitary) and three frame sizes. Selected when the application requires only on/off operation and an intermediate-position handle would risk operator-induced throttling.

What it does

Manually rotates the valve disc between full-closed (0°) and full-open (90°) with positive locking at each end position only — no intermediate detents, eliminating operator-induced throttling.

• Compatible valve series: NE-C, NE-I, NE-I Sanitary, NE-D, NEI-T (any 2″–12″ DEMCO butterfly valve)
• Compatible valve sizes: 2″–4″, 5″–6″, 8″–12″
• Mounting standard: DEMCO top-flange standard

Configuration & trim

Specify trim level (standard, corrosion-resistant, sanitary) and frame size matching your valve size. Same construction as the 10-position handle but with a 2-position throttle plate instead of a 10-detent plate.

• Maximum torque output: Hand-operable across the 2″–6″ range; gear operator recommended for 8″–12″
