Size — Nominal size as the manufacturer states it. Chain size — Chain the fitting is made for. Min breaking load — Minimum breaking load. A test figure — never lift to it. LC — Lashing capacity — the most a tie-down may hold in service when securing a load (EN 12195). A load-securing figure, not a lifting rating. F max — Dimension F max on the manufacturer dimension drawing. R max — Dimension R max on the manufacturer dimension drawing. R min — Dimension R min on the manufacturer dimension drawing. Weight — Weight per metre, as published. Ask us for the dimension drawing if you need it stamped.
WLL is the most the part may carry in service. Proof and breaking loads are test figures — never lift to them. Each load is shown in the unit the manufacturer rates the part in, and a size ships with the manufacturer’s test certificate.
LC is the lashing capacity — what a tie-down may hold when securing a load under EN 12195. It is not a lifting rating: never lift with load-securing equipment.
