Construction

Installation
The lug body has threaded bolt holes, so the valve can stay in service as an end-of-line isolator with the downstream pipe removed — DEMCO limits that to 150 psi at 14″ and larger. Use weld-neck or socket flanges upstream in that duty; slip-on and threaded flanges are not supported.
Operators
The DEMCO top flange takes the 10-position locking handle, worm-gear operator and Series DR pneumatic actuators. DEMCO recommends a worm-gear operator at 8″ and larger. Confirm the operator supplied with each part number when we quote.
