Collared Eyebolt with Oval Link — BS 4278 Table 2

Eye bolts and eye nuts give a threaded lifting point on machinery, moulds and equipment. Made to BS 4278. Self coloured / electric galvanized / hot-dip galvanized.

Sizes and ratings

14 sizes. Working load limit 0.1 to 6.3 t. Every size has its own Indus part number in the table below, with the loads in the unit the manufacturer rates them in.

Choosing a size

The WLL is for a straight pull along the thread axis. A fully seated shoulder eye takes an angled pull at a reduced rating; a plain eye is for vertical loads only. Screw it fully home into a sound thread of adequate length.

Quote the Indus part number from the size table, or send the size and rating you need. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate; say on the RFQ if your site needs anything more.
