Product description
The 304 Stainless Steel Threaded Raised Face Flange is a threaded flange in forged 304 stainless steel: a tapered pipe thread (NPT), so it fits without welding; for small-bore lines and where welding is not allowed. The raised face is the standard 1/16" (1.6 mm) for Class 150 and 300.

Pressure rating
Class 300 flanges are rated by the pressure–temperature tables of ASME B16.5 for Material Group 2.1 (304 stainless steel): the allowable pressure falls as temperature rises. Tell us the design pressure and temperature and we will confirm the class.
304 or 316
316 adds molybdenum for better resistance to chlorides and pitting: choose it for sea water, coastal plant and chloride-bearing process fluids; 304 suits fresh water, food and general process service.
