The 316 Stainless Steel Lap Joint Flange is a lap joint flange in forged 316 stainless steel: a loose flange that rides on a stub end, so the bolt holes line up by turning the flange; only the stub end touches the fluid.

Pressure rating
Class 300 flanges are rated by the pressure–temperature tables of ASME B16.5 for Material Group 2.2 (316 stainless steel): the allowable pressure falls as temperature rises. Tell us the design pressure and temperature and we will confirm the class.
304 or 316
316 adds molybdenum for better resistance to chlorides and pitting: choose it for sea water, coastal plant and chloride-bearing process fluids; 304 suits fresh water, food and general process service.
