304 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Raised Face Flange

The 304 Stainless Steel Weld Neck Raised Face Flange is a weld neck flange in forged 304 stainless steel: a tapered neck butt-welded to the pipe, the strongest and best-aligned joint, for high pressure, high temperature and cyclic service. The raised face is the standard 1/16" (1.6 mm) for Class 150 and 300.

Pressure rating

Class 150 and Class 300 flanges are rated by the pressure–temperature tables of ASME B16.5 for Material Group 2.1 (304 stainless steel): the allowable pressure falls as temperature rises. Tell us the design pressure and temperature and we will confirm the class.

304 or 316

316 adds molybdenum for better resistance to chlorides and pitting: choose it for sea water, coastal plant and chloride-bearing process fluids; 304 suits fresh water, food and general process service.
