Product description
Grade 100 grab hook with a clevis that pins directly onto the chain. Forged alloy steel, quenched and tempered.
Sizes and ratings
5 sizes, 8 mm (5/16″) to 20 mm (3/4″). Working load limit 2.5 to 16 t. Every size has its own Indus part number in the table below, with the loads in the unit the manufacturer rates them in. The lettered dimensions refer to the dimension drawing in the gallery.
Choosing a size
A grab hook has a narrow throat that seats across one chain link, to shorten a sling leg or hook the chain back on itself. This pattern has no cradle under the link; a leg shortened on a hook without a cradle is commonly used at 80% of the chain rating, so check the rule your site works to. Each row is the hook for one Grade 100 chain size.
