Product description
A lifting hook carries a load in its bowl — on a hoist, a sling leg or a chain. This range follows the H-324 / A-324 pattern, sized to interchange in an existing rigging plan.
Sizes and ratings
7 sizes, 1/4″ to 3/4″. Working load limit alloy 2,750 to 19,250 lbs; carbon 1,950 to 12,500 lbs. Carbon- and alloy-steel versions share a frame but not a rating, so each is its own row in the table. Every size has its own Indus part number in the table below, with the loads in the unit the manufacturer rates them in.

- Minimum ultimate load is 4 times the working load limit (a 4:1 design factor).
Choosing a size
Seat the load at the bottom of the bowl, never on the tip, and use a latch wherever it could bounce free. Carbon and alloy versions of the same hook share a frame but not a rating, so order the row whose WLL covers your load.
Ordering
Quote the Indus part number from the size table, or send the size and working load you need. Each consignment ships with the manufacturer's test certificate; say on the RFQ if your site needs anything more.
