The 90° Metric Female 74° Cone Seat Hose Fitting is the 90° elbow, for a tight exit off the port of the metric 74° cone range — a hydraulic hose fitting with a metric thread and a 74° included cone seat, sealing metal-to-metal against the mating cone.
What the 74° seat is
74° is the included angle — 37° per side, the same seat geometry the JIC 37° flare uses. The seat is the only thing the two share: this fitting carries a metric thread, so it will not mate with a JIC port and a JIC fitting will not mate with this one. If the port you are facing is metric and the seat is a cone rather than a flat face or an O-ring groove, measure the cone before ordering — the metric 60° cone in this same category looks near-identical and does not seal against a 74° mating half.
