Tractor-Mounted Lay Flat Hose Reel, 3-Point Hitch

Hydraulically driven hose reel on a 3-point hitch, holding 2,000 ft (about 610 m) of 6" lay flat hose, for fast deployment and recovery of slurry and irrigation lines; front or rear tractor mounting. Built to order and supplied by Indus Hydraulics in the UAE.
Product description
A tractor-mounted reel that lays out and winds in long runs of large-bore lay flat hose — the supply lines of slurry umbilical systems and temporary irrigation mains. A high-torque hydraulic motor drives the reel from the tractor's hydraulics, so one operator can deploy or recover a full reel quickly.

How to roll, recover and store lay flat hose
Lay flat hose earns its name at the end of the job: drained and rolled, a kilometre of it fits on a pallet. Rolled badly or stored wet, it loses a season of life. How to drain and roll hose by hand and by machine, the roll patterns that make redeployment fast, and how to store it so it comes out ready to work.

Slurry umbilical systems explained: supply line, drag hose, reels and couplings
An umbilical system pumps slurry from the store through a hose to an applicator on the tractor — no tankers, no road trips, far less soil compaction. With low-emission spreading now required across Ireland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and Scotland, it is how many farms and contractors meet the rules. How the system is laid out, what each hose does, and how to choose supply line, drag hose, couplings and reels.

Low-emission slurry spreading rules in Europe: Ireland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands and the UK
Splash plates are on their way out across north-west Europe. Ireland’s LESS rules now reach farms above 100 kg organic N per hectare; Germany requires strip application on grassland from February 2025; Denmark and the Netherlands have required low-emission methods for years; Scotland bans splash plates and goes further in 2027. What each country requires, which equipment counts, and what it means for hose.
