Product description
The Steel JIC 37° Male × Code 62 Flange 90° Elbow is a 90° elbow flange adapter that connects a JIC hose or tube end to an SAE J518 Code 62 flanged port on a pump, valve or manifold. It is forged carbon steel with trivalent zinc plating.
Ends and sealing
- Flange end: SAE J518 Code 62 (high-pressure) flange head, sealed by an O-ring in the flange face and held by a split or one-piece flange clamp; the clamp and bolts are ordered separately.
- JIC male end: 37° flare, a metal-to-metal seat on a 74° included cone; SAE J514.

Pressure rating
The manufacturer states Code 61 adapters for up to 3,000 psi and Code 62 adapters for up to 6,000 psi. The JIC end has its own rating, which falls as size goes up, and the lowest rating in the joint governs. Tell us the size and working pressure and we will confirm it.
Code 61 or Code 62
Code 62 heads only fit Code 62 ports and clamps: the two codes share the bolt-circle family but differ in head thickness and bolt spacing. Check the port before ordering.
