Product description
The Steel Flareless Tube × ORB Male Connector, Long is a straight connector for inch hydraulic tube, in forged carbon steel with trivalent zinc plating. Its ends are flareless tube end, ORB male. Flareless fittings join plain-end tube without flaring it, which saves time on thick-wall tube and in tight spaces.
Ends and sealing
- flareless tube end: flareless bite-type tube end: the sleeve bites into plain tube as the nut is tightened, so the tube needs no flare; SAE J514.
- ORB: SAE straight-thread port sealed by an O-ring under the hex; SAE J1926.
