A size 6F drill pipe float valve sits in the float sub or bit sub above the bit and stops drilling fluid and cuttings flowing back up the string when circulation stops, when connections are made, and in a kick. Size 6F fits subs cut with a 8-5/8″ API Reg, 6-5/8″ API FH and 6-5/8″ API IF connection. We supply it new in Model F (plunger) from Baker-pattern manufacturers.
