Gear operator reduces the operator torque required to operate large or high-pressure quarter-turn / multi-turn valves. Typical gear ratios are 4:1 to 16:1 — enough to bring the operating effort down to safe handwheel torque even on 4-inch+ valves at 10K+ pressure.

Compatibility: Fits 3-inch API 6A 5M / 10M / 15M valves. The host valve OEM and model determine the exact mounting interface. Specify the host valve OEM, model, and serial number on the RFQ — Indus confirms the correct mounting kit and provides any required adapter sleeves.
Is this accessory NACE-compliant for sour service?▾
No — this is standard service. For sour-service installations, specify the NACE MR0175 compliant variant on the RFQ.
What signal / control connections are required?▾
See OEM data sheet for control / signal interfaces. For manual operators (gear, lever) no electrical connections are required.
What is the lead time?▾
Typical lead time 21 working days ex-works. Common configurations stocked at the OEM for quick dispatch. Custom mounting brackets and long-stem extensions typically add 14-21 days.
Are commissioning instructions provided?▾
Yes — every accessory ships with the OEM commissioning instructions, mounting drawings, and (where applicable) wiring diagrams. Indus also provides on-site commissioning support in the GCC region on request.

Does this accessory affect the host valve's API monogram?▾
API 6A monogram requires that any added accessory be qualified to the host valve's testing protocol. For monogram-critical service, specify the accessory at the time of host-valve order and Indus arranges combined-assembly testing. Field-retrofit accessories are supplied as service items and do not affect the existing monogram unless re-tested.
