The Brass Inverted Flare Union is a straight union, in CA360 brass (C36000 free-machining brass). It has two inverted flare female ends. Inverted flare fittings carry the seal inside the port, which shields the threads and resists vibration; they are the usual connection on automotive brake and fuel lines.
